Today we made a storyboard and discussed location and what props we would be using.We did change some shots from our pitch such as the car scene etc.

Today we analyzed the lyrics to the song we are using for our music video. We discussed where we would use different angle/shot types at which lyric/chorus.

During our break today me my group went to search for isolated places near by as our song would go with such a location. However, we later realised if didn't really go with our music video ideas so therefore we're not going to use these locations anymore.

Today, we planned a pitch on our ideas about our music videos which we will be presenting to the class, in order to get some feedback and improve our ideas.

Today in class we decided on our groups and also discussed what song we would use for our music video. We came to an-agreement on Jealous type by Bahja Rodriguez. We spoke about what location we would use, how many actors and who etc.

Evaluation for pre music video

When producing this music video we looked for different people that were willing to just dance for us  or just to show themselves as being happy and we did in fact find as few people who were more than happy to do so. I really enjoyed filming this music video and putting it all together. It helped me reflect on what I needed to change/add, what I could have done to make it better etc. In other words my positives and negatives. However for a pre music video I think It was a good recap on how to use the camera and improve my editing techniques. I do in fact believe the summer work has helped me to understand the concept of producing a music video. And how many music videos follow similar conventions for example, lip- syncing. The pre production also helped me work better in a group and from that I have realised that everyone should have a important role in producing the music video or else one person will just be left to it everything.

Today we got into groups.

We printed out lyrics of the song that we were using for our pre music video task. 

We wrote down what shots/angles we we're gonna use for each shot that we took as well as who was singing what.
